Bowl is very nice to use with shaving cream so you aren't wasting any. Brush has nice feel to it just takes a few times to get used to if you never applied shaving cream with a brush before. For the price its a great product for beginners.

Very happy with this shave set. I made shave soaps for my father and my husband as father’s day gift and some for my small business :) thinking in buy more, perfect for an old fashion barbershop experience.

I use with the Bigelow shave cream that I also purchased on Amazon for a substantially lower price than in local stores. Combined with my Gillette Fushion razor, this leads to a smooth, comfortable and pleasant shaving experience. The brush is soft and the soap bowl is a good size for mixing a good lather. The bowl looks good on the counter with the faucet finish.

I bought this for my 71 year old roommate. He absolutely loves it uses it everyday. It's not big and clunky fits in the medicine cabinet nicely. Brush quality was very good.
