I didn't really know what to expect out of this odd looking thing but since I have naturally curly frizzy hair that can't or won't be controlled. I wanted to check this item out and see what it's about because if it could take the frizz and kink out of my hair it can help anyone.

My hair is just below shoulder length and processed and I use a variety of unnatural colors at any given time (mermaid- purple, pink blue, green, etc..) and I straighten so you know my hair is pretty fried. I normally use a bit of argon oil as soon as I wash to tame it down before drying but for this test I did not.

It fits 3 of my 4 dryers (newer and smaller ends- under 2 inches) with no problem and comes right off BUT it doesn't fit any of my daughters' dryers- theirs are all older and have ends that are wider than 2 inches. You will not be able to use this item if the end of your dryer is 2 inches in diameter. Actually, it's slightly less than 2 inches so at a full 2 inches you might as well forget it.

It does stay on until you want to remove it and it's not big and heavy- it's very lightweight..

Don't get me wrong. This is a good diffuser. It fits my standard sized hair dryer barrel nicely and is pretty easy to use when you finally get the hang of it. The issue for me is the size and bulk of this diffuser in particular. For the higher price tag, I expect something that is very easy to use and will travel well. This diffuser is quite large and until you work out how to use something this size for your particular hair length, you are bound to knock your head with it a few times. It's definitely not travel friendly, in my book. The sheer size of it takes up a good deal of space in a carry on and the like. This one is a pass for me. Give me something smaller, that works well and isn't so expensive, and I'm all in.
