Spray bottle has musty smell

Hi,

I have one your your misting spray bottles and after a few uses with regular tap water, their seems to be a musty, mildew smell coming from the nozzle. I’ve tried emptying it and letting it air dry, however, the smell soon returns. What would you recommend for cleaning? Is the bottle dishwasher safe? Should I be using a special kind of water or white vinegar? Please advise. Thanks.

This seems to an issue with their spray bottles. Mine has a mildew smell as well.
